Trevor Parnell operated a ‘Four Square’ style business in Wellington more than 56 years ago.
Parnell Agencies was established by Trevor and Connie Parnell as an agency for fashion clothing. Their first ‘warehouse’ was the family garage in Tawa, Wellington.
Retail shop opened expanding into ethnic Chinese gifts and tableware.
Kevin Hanlon (Trevor and Connie’s son in law) joined the company.
Anne Hanlon (Trevor and Connie’s daughter) joined the company.
Moved to new premises in Grenada North, Wellington.
Business was purchased by Kevin and Anne.
Jerome Fill joined the company.
Paul Salisbury Joined the company.
Moved to new 3000sqm premises in Grenada North, Wellington.
Business purchased by long term employee’s Paul Salisbury and current owners Jerome Fill and wife Sarah-Jane Gilles.
Parnell Agencies Australia was established.
Jerome and Sarah-Jane assumed full ownership.
Parnell Agencies Ltd commenced trading as Parnell +co. to better reflect an exciting and fresh new direction and expanding brand line up.
Moved to new 10,000sqm premises in Glenside, Wellington.
